Chapter 7 – The Digital Guillotine
Dominic’s dark eyes widened in sheer, apocalyptic shock.
He didn’t scream or throw the table across the room. The absolute, titanium fury in his posture was infinitely more terrifying. He reached into his dark suit and pulled out his highly encrypted cell phone. He dialed his personal fixer—a man who had access to every secured database in the country.
“Marcus,” Dominic commanded, his voice a freezing, lethal frequency. “Pull the medical records for Vanessa Sterling. Eight months ago. Did she give birth?”
Vanessa let out a horrific, high-pitched gasp. She lunged forward, desperately trying to snatch the phone from the billionaire’s heavily tattooed hands, but the tall guard immediately stepped in, violently grabbing her arms and pinning her in place.
Ten agonizing seconds passed in the silent restaurant.
“Boss,” Marcus replied over the speakerphone, his voice echoing perfectly across the room. “Vanessa Sterling is medically infertile. She hasn’t been to an OBGYN in three years. But I see a massive wire transfer from her private account to the Chief of Obstetrics at St. Jude’s Clinic. Two million dollars, sent exactly eight months ago.”
The phone call ended. The cinematic reality of the horrific, monstrous betrayal hit Dominic with the force of a freight train.
Vanessa hadn’t just lied about the pregnancy to secure a billionaire marriage. She had actively paid a corrupt medical syndicate to steal a living breathing infant from an innocent, traumatized mother, completely destroying two lives for a paycheck.
Vanessa dropped to her knees, weeping in pure terror.
👉 Vanessa begged for mercy, completely unaware of the brutal, unforgiving justice that was about to rain down upon her.
Chapter 8 – The Underworld Justice
“Dominic, please!” Vanessa sobbed frantically, crawling across the white tablecloths, completely humiliating herself in front of the city’s most powerful elites. “I only did it because I loved you! You wanted an heir so badly! I couldn’t give you one! I bought him for us!”
Dominic looked down at her. He didn’t feel a single, solitary ounce of pity.
“You stole a child from his mother,” Dominic whispered coldly, his eyes entirely devoid of human mercy. “And you poisoned my son because you couldn’t stand the sound of his voice. There is no mercy for monsters.”
Dominic calmly raised two fingers in the air.
From the shadows of the restaurant lobby, four massive, heavily armed corporate enforcers stepped forward. They didn’t treat Vanessa like a respected high-society fiancée. They treated her like a hostile, dangerous, and completely neutralized target.
“Strip her of the engagement ring,” Dominic commanded smoothly, adjusting the cuffs of his white shirt. “Take her phones, her keys, and her access cards. And then, take her to the basement of the warehouse.”
Vanessa let out a horrific, apocalyptic shriek of pure, unadulterated terror. She wasn’t just losing her luxury lifestyle; she was being handed over to the mafia’s interrogation team.
“No! You can’t do this to me!” Vanessa screamed wildly, clawing frantically at her own designer gown as the massive security guards violently grabbed her arms and hauled her forcefully to her feet. “Let me go! Please!”
The wealthy guests watched in absolute, stunned silence as the cruel, arrogant woman was forcefully dragged backward through the dining room, crying and screaming in total, undeniable disgrace.
👉 Dominic turned his intense gaze back to Sophie, entirely ready to right the horrific wrong that had destroyed her life.
